A new houseguest for Christmas this year means a new stocking. I knitted a monster-sized stocking and threw it in the family wash, to felt it down to a sensible size and a nice dense fabric, so no lining required. I managed to knit the whole giant thing before I noticed that I'd knitted the guest's initial the wrong way round on both sizes, whoops. I knit correction patches and the felting melded them nicely into the fabric so, hopefully, the guest won't think I've repurposed someone else's stocking.
Knitted in J. C. Rennie Supersoft and Woolyknit British Wool, with a little embroidery in Jamieson's Sprindrift.
